In response to the COVID-19 crisis, emergency legislation has
been passed to give flexibility for Assemblies. Read a summary here.
MAIL-IN BALLOTS: Due to the Coronavirus, the Pueblo County Democratic Assembly & Convention was replaced by a Mail-in Ballot. Ballots were sent to all Democrats who were elected at Caucus to be delegates to the County Assembly & Convention.

Pueblo County is part of 3 multi-county districts:
State House District 47 - Running for re-election is Democrat Bri Buentello.
State House District 62 - Running are Democrats Don Valdez (incumbent) & Matt Martinez.
State Senate District 35 - Democrat Carlos López is running for this open seat.
Multi-counties Districts had to adjust their Assembly dates due to the Coronavirus. They did not hold in-person meetings. Instead, they held E-VOTING with a CALL-IN vote option using Survey Monkey.

Pueblo County is part of CD-3, a huge US Congressional District in Colorado. The seat is currently held by a Republican, but three Democrats are running for a chance to unseat him by getting on the Primary ballot. They are:

Citing his wish to pursue his career in cybersecurity — which would prevent a full-time political job — Chris Nicoll announced his withdrawal from the Commissioner race.
