In the face of the Coronusvirus crisis, a group of dedicated Democrats labored over their cutting tables and sewing machines to respond to a critical community need. They produced over 500 face masks and delivered them in a drive-by at Democratic Headquarters on Thursday, April 23, 2020.

At that drive-by these Masketeers learned that there was a further need. The Pueblo Police Department had a shortage of masks, so Masketeer Bernice Henrickson stepped up and produced an additional 150 masks.

On March 3, 2020, friends and food got together for a Super Party on Super Tuesday. Fourteen state races determined the delegate count for five Democratic candidates. These five, Joe Biden, Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, Michael Bloomberg, and Tulsi Gabbard were the survivers of a campaign season that started with a field of 28 contenders, others of which came and went with barely a notice.

On January 11, 2020, Governor Polis joined Rep. Daneya Esgar and Rep. Leroy Garcia, sponsors of the Colorado Partnership for Quality Jobs and Services Act, for a visit to the Colorado WINS office to promote the pending bill. Also attended by Rep. Bri Buentello, and hosted by Hilary Glasgo, HB 20-1153 will ensure that state employees have the right to advocate for the well-being of themselves and their families through collective bargaining.

On December 12, 2019, Pueblo Dems celebrated both the Failure of All Recalls & their Holiday Party at Zaragoza Hall. Colorado Senate President Leroy Garcia was guest of honor. Also attending was Colorado Attorney General Phil Weiser.

Pueblo leaders and citizens came together on November 8, 2019 to support Temple Emanuel. Shabbat services were held for the first time since a threat was prevented by the FBI and Pueblo Police.
