Election Notices Start April 6 for
Congressional and Multi-County Districts
Congressional Districts Will Vote via Electronic Ballots
Pueblo County is part of CD-3, a huge US Congressional District in Colorado. The seat is currently held by a Republican, but three Democrats are running for a chance to unseat him by getting on the Primary ballot. They are:
• Diane Mitsch Bush • James Iacino • Root Routledge
Delegates to the CD-3 Assembly will not vote in person. Instead the delegates will vote for one of these candidates by Email Ballot. Delegates without emails will be “snail-mailed” a ballot with the “Official Call.”
CD-3 "Call” (or Notice) | Voting Begins | Voting Ends |
4/7/2020 | 4/12/2020 | 4/14/2020 (6 pm) |
The “call” will go out 5 days before the first voting date. Ballots must be completed by 6 p.m. on the 7th day. Delegates who have been mailed a ballot will phone in their decisions/votes. CD’s will have volunteers to receive the calls, & the Colorado Democratic Party (CDP) will act as backup.
